A made-to-order print typically takes 7 to 14 days from order to doorstep. Production runs about 3 to 7 business days, since each piece is printed, dried and framed or stretched after the order is placed. Shipping adds 2 to 7 days depending on destination. Order at least three weeks ahead of a fixed date.
The production clock comes first
Nothing ships until the print exists. Made-to-order means the piece is produced after purchase, not pulled from a shelf. Printing itself takes hours. The slower parts are drying time for pigment inks, and the framing or stretching that follows. Together this usually occupies 3 to 7 business days, and framed pieces sit at the longer end because assembly adds a step.
This is why the estimated shipping duration for custom prints is only half the answer. A buyer comparing two sellers on shipping speed alone is comparing the wrong number. Ask how long production takes, then ask about transit.
