Yaroslavl. Saint Basil Church

Saint Basil Church rises over Yaroslavl in this Nicholas Roerich composition, white walls and tiled roofs set against a Volga sky washed in thin blue and ash. Emerald glaze on the roofs catches flat northern light while crosses keep their dull gold above kokoshnik gables. The brush follows brick under plaster, a worn churchyard step, dry grass at the edge of the road, low cloud banks holding the horizon steady. Hung in a study or an entryway with pale plaster and oak, the muted green and grey palette settles into quiet company.

Pick the size that suits your wall and furniture. If you are unsure between two, the larger one usually looks better than expected.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.

As each piece is made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged or faulty, email support@auvrique.com within 7 days and we will put it right. See our refund policy.
