Weyerberg under the Clouds

A broad Weyerberg hill sits low beneath towering cumulus clouds in this Hans am Ende landscape, the flat Worpswede terrain rendered with quiet northern gravity. Grassy slopes in muted sage and olive rise toward a sky that dominates nearly two thirds of the composition. Cloud banks build in bruised grey and cream, their undersides shadowed with violet, while thin light breaks along the horizon.
