Waldbach

Cold water slips between mossy stones in Waldbach, threading a shallow course beneath close-set trees. Ludwig Rosch keeps the forest dense and the light sparse, so the stream itself carries the brightness. The greens run deep and wet, bottle dark under the canopy, yellowed along the mossy bank. Trunks rise as narrow verticals, bark broken with pale flecks. Where the water slows, its surface holds a soft mirror of leaf and sky.
