About this work

View of the Fortified Village of Eze

The fortified village of Eze clings to its rocky spur above the Mediterranean, and Winston Churchill sets those stacked stone houses and ramparts down in broad, sunlit strokes of the brush. Ochre and rose walls climb toward the ruined castle keep, terracotta roofs catching the glare. The paint goes on thick, dragged in olive greens across the slopes, with a hard band of cobalt sea pinned along the horizon and cypress spires breaking the skyline. A study or library with plaster walls and dark shelving suits it well; the sunbaked palette warms a hallway or stair landing on grey mornings.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.
