View of strains by Koloman Moser turns sound itself into ornament. Waveforms ripple across the surface in parallel bands, each crest bending and doubling as it travels from edge to edge. Fine hatching builds the middle register, where one undulating line crosses another and the intervals between them tighten into woven texture. The palette runs on muted violets, greys and a whisper of blue, laid down in flat, deliberate strokes that keep every curve graphic and controlled.
