A road pulls the eye straight into the city. Scheiber Hugó builds Út a Városba around that simple pull, the route itself becoming the subject before anything at the end of it matters. Builds crowd the far edge in blocky planes, warm brick and umber set against a road washed in pale ochre. Rooftops overlap in stepped rhythm, and the sky above carries cool blues and greys pressed into flat, deliberate bands. Edges stay firm, colors laid down in clear adjacent fields rather than blended. A hallway or stair landing suits it well, anywhere a long view rewards a passing glance and the destination stays just out of reach.
