Tropical Landscape

Palm crowns climb the left edge of a Tropical landscape by Konstantin Bogaevsky, their fronds cut dark against a sky washed in pale green and lemon. The scene hums with heat. Water glitters in a narrow band across the middle distance, and low hills dissolve into a violet haze on the horizon. Bogaevsky pushes color past observation into dream: turquoise shallows, shadowed foliage in near black, distant peaks rendered in flat, luminous planes. The brushwork stays loose and wet, edges bleeding where sea meets land. A sunlit corner, a reading nook, or a hallway facing south would suit this exotic vision well.
