Trees near the Lake

Leaf-heavy boughs reach out over still water in Trees near the Lake, a landscape Pyotr Konchalovsky built from thick oil paint and confident, visible strokes. Trunks rise in ochre and cool grey, their reflections breaking where the brush dragged wet pigment through the shallows. Foliage sits in dense dabs of sap green and yellow, and the far shore stays a soft band of muted violet. A study, a hallway beside a garden window, or a quiet reading nook: the cool palette settles a room without ever dimming it.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.
