Three Swords

Three blades rise side by side against a somber ground, painted by Nicholas Roerich. The arrangement reads like a vow, formal and still. Steel grays cool into blue, each sword catching a different light along its edge. Hilts sit at staggered heights, their grips and guards rendered in firm, calligraphic strokes. Shadow pools beneath the points, and the background deepens toward violet at the upper corners. A study, a library, or a hallway with stone or timber tones would hold this image with quiet gravity.
