The Star

A single star burns above the darkened Cimmerian coast, its pale light cutting straight down through layers of indigo cloud. Konstantin Bogaevsky builds the whole composition around that one cold point, letting everything below fall into shadow. The light itself carries the weight here: a narrow beam of silvery white against deep blue and near black, its glow softening the distant ridge into smoke. Below, the land lies quiet, cliffs and slopes rendered in bruised violet tones that drink the starlight rather than reflect it. Suited to a dim reading nook or a hallway that needs one point of focus, where its concentrated glow reads clearly even in low evening light.
