Flowering greenery covers every corner of the picture, a botanical realm where foliage reigns over earth and sky alike. Konstantin Yuon called the work The Kingdom of Vegetation, and the title reads as literal truth. Look closely and the leafage has architecture. Broad greens settle at the base, lighter shoots climb upward, and warm ochre light filters through branches rendered in confident brushwork. Layered tones of sap green and sun-bleached gold give the canopy real depth. A fitting presence in a sunroom, garden-facing living room, or any space that wants living color on its walls.
