About this work

The Gloucester Buckets

Two galvanized buckets catch the harbor light on a Gloucester dock, painted by Arthur Streeton with the crisp marine clarity that made his seascapes famous. Rope coils, wet timber, and fishing gear surround them, every surface handled in quick confident strokes. Cool greys and silvery blues dominate, warmed by hints of rust and sun-bleached wood along the wharf planks. The water beyond shimmers, gulls wheel, and the working rhythm of a New England fishing port comes alive. Suited to a coastal kitchen, hallway, or study where maritime character is welcome.

Pick the size that suits your wall and furniture. If you are unsure between two, the larger one usually looks better than expected.

Each piece is made to order and shipped free with tracking, usually within a couple of weeks depending on your location. See our shipping policy for details.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.

As each piece is made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged or faulty, email support@auvrique.com within 7 days and we will put it right. See our refund policy.
