Ferries and small craft cross the blue water of Sydney Harbour in this Arthur Streeton seascape, the city skyline rising pale and hazy behind the masts. Streeton builds the scene in loose, sunlit brushwork: cobalt and ultramarine sweep across the middle distance, white hulls catch full light, and warm sandstone tones anchor the foreshore. The sky washes into soft cerulean near the horizon, so the water and air seem to share one breath. Suited to a living room or hallway where coastal light can carry the wall.
