Swifts: Paths of Movement + Dynamic Sequences

Swifts cut across the sheet in arcs and repeated wing-beats, their flight broken into a chain of overlapping silhouettes. Giacomo Balla tracks each bird as a stutter of position, one shape trailing into the next until a single swallow becomes a flurry. The palette stays close to bone white, pale blue, and grey-green, with dark wing-tips snapping against the light ground. Curves repeat like ripples off a wing. Every line describes speed rather than the bird itself, motion read as pure geometry. Suits a stairwell, a studio wall, anywhere the eye wants something moving.
