Sudak motif

Sudak rises in stone tiers along a slope that drops straight into the sea. Bogaevsky paints the old Genoese town as a honey-colored mass of walls and roofs, hard-edged under a dry Crimean sky. Rust and chalk dominate the palette. Heat haze flattens the distant water to a pale strip, while cypress spires and the stub of a watchtower break the skyline. Brushwork stays tight, almost mineral, in the sunlit masonry. Suited to a study or hallway that favors antique travel imagery and Crimean coastal views.
