Study

Single loaded strokes lay down leafless branches against a pale ground, each mark placed without correction. Study, by Pyotr Konchalovsky, keeps the pace visible: a tree blocked in fast, left unfinished on purpose. Oil sits thick on the surface, ridged where the bristles dragged. The trunk runs in umber and grey, wet over a dry underlayer, while the sky behind stays one broad pass of cool white. Raw priming shows at the corners, evidence of haste. Hang it where work happens, a home office or library corner, anywhere that rewards looking at process rather than polish.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes. It ships fully framed and assembled, with the hanging hardware already fitted to the back.

Wipe the front gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep it out of direct sunlight.

Pick the size that suits your wall and furniture. If you are unsure between two, the larger one usually looks better than expected.

Each piece is made to order and shipped free with tracking, usually within a couple of weeks depending on your location. See our shipping policy for details.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.

As each piece is made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged or faulty, email support@auvrique.com within 7 days and we will put it right. See our refund policy.
