Churning surf drives up the beach in Study for Storm Tide, where Robert Henri reduces a rising sea to its essential movement, swell against shore under a burdened sky. Paint sits thick. Broad strokes of slate green and oyster gray build the water; foam breaks across it in single dragged passes of white. Low on the horizon, wet sand catches a dim reflected light, and the swell leans toward the viewer, close enough to taste the spray. Built for a room with weather on its mind: a stairwell, a reading room under a north window, or an entryway that greets you with salt wind.

Yes. It ships fully assembled in an oak or ash wood frame with shatterproof plexiglass glazing, and hanging hardware already fitted to the back.

Clean the glazing with a soft, lint-free cloth; apply any cleaner to the cloth, never directly to the piece.

As a guide, a piece hung above furniture should span roughly two-thirds of that furniture width. If you are between two sizes, the larger option almost always reads better on the wall than expected.

Every piece is made to order, then shipped free with tracking. US and Europe/UK orders typically arrive in 4–9 business days; Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and the UAE in 7–16 business days. A tracking link is emailed as soon as it ships. Full details are on our shipping policy.
