Storm Weather, Wyoming Valley

A bruised sky presses down on green farmland, rain still hanging in the air. Robert Henri titled the scene Storm Weather, Wyoming Valley, and the name tells only half of it. The brushwork is blunt and loaded, oil dragged in wide gray strokes across the upper register, then quicker, heavier handling for the fields below. Treetops lean with the wind. One seam of pale light opens near the ridge, the only warmth in all that wet air. A study with dark shelves suits it best, lamplight against that heavy slate and olive, a room that quiets when the clouds refuse to move on.

Yes. It ships fully assembled in an oak or ash wood frame with shatterproof plexiglass glazing, and hanging hardware already fitted to the back.

Clean the glazing with a soft, lint-free cloth; apply any cleaner to the cloth, never directly to the piece.

As a guide, a piece hung above furniture should span roughly two-thirds of that furniture width. If you are between two sizes, the larger option almost always reads better on the wall than expected.
