Cornflowers, oxeye daisies and scarlet poppies jostle in a squat stoneware jug, the roadside bunch Pyotr Konchalovsky gathered for Still Life. Wildflowers. Paint sits thick, each petal laid in a single loaded stroke so the daisy whites keep real ridges.
