Still Life. Tobacco Leaves

Tobacco leaves crowd the picture, broad blades of deep green curling toward bronze at every edge. Pyotr Konchalovsky treats the crop like portraiture, a still life where the plant itself is the whole subject. Oil paint sits thick on the surface, each vein dragged in with a loaded brush. Ochre, sap green and burnt umber build the leaves while a warm brown ground shows through, and the stems cross at hard, deliberate angles like rafters. A study suits it, or a library corner with low lamplight, somewhere that wants something grown from soil rather than manufactured.

Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep it out of direct sunlight.

Pick the size that suits your wall and furniture. If you are unsure between two, the larger one usually looks better than expected.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.
