Stars

Stars burn in ranks across a dark sky above the Cimmerian coast, each one rendered as a cold point of light against deep indigo. Bogaevsky paints the night as architecture: constellations arranged with the discipline of a fortress plan, hanging over silent crags and an empty sea. Below, the land lies in shadowed blues and violet greys, rock faces catching a faint stellar glimmer along their edges. The heavens carry more weight than the earth.
