St. Moritz

Snow peaks above St. Moritz rise in cold blue planes against a high alpine sky. Nicholas Roerich sets the Engadin landscape into a small, concentrated composition of light and altitude. Glacier fields run in pale streaks down the mountain flanks, while the lake below holds a band of turquoise and slate. Pines gather darkly at the base, their silhouettes compressed by distance.
