Sloneczny pejzaz

Sunlight floods the field in Sloneczny pejzaz, Ferdynand Ruszczyc painting the light itself as the true subject. Grain catches gold where the brush drags it thick. Every hedgerow burns at the edge. The composition leans on warm ochre and butter yellow laid over darker earth, harvest tones pressed into the ground with visible impasto. Ruszczyc builds the sky in pale washes that thin toward the horizon, so the land carries the weight. Corners fall into olive and tawny brown, keeping the lit centre open and generous.
