Skispuren

Two thin ski tracks cut a pale hillside, crossing the frame in long unhurried arcs. Cuno Amiet records the quiet aftermath of a winter descent in Skispuren, a Swiss landscape pared down to snow, slope and line. Cool whites and blue shadows build the terrain while the tracks themselves stay crisp, drawn over soft ground like a signature left in the snow. Patches of exposed earth and sparse trees anchor the ridge, and the sky sits heavy above the valley. Suited to a study or a hallway where winter scenes feel at home, this reproduction brings Alpine stillness indoors.
