Sand Dunes in Wales

Wind-carved dunes roll across the Welsh coast in this seascape by Daniel Sherrin, marram grass bending where the sand meets a pale, fast-moving sky. Sherrin paints the shoreline with soft, feathery brushwork, dune crests catching low light in warm golds and tans while cool grey-green shadows pool in the hollows between. Far off, a slim band of sea sits under drifting cloud, the horizon kept low so the dunes and sky carry the composition.
