A female figure leans into the keyboard, hair streaming back in long dark ribbons as the music takes hold. The Beethoven sonatas evening announcement by Koloman Moser turns a recital into pure line. Flat planes of ink black and bone cream, laid down with lithographic evenness, carry the composition, modeling abandoned in favor of clean contour. Golden lettering occupies the lower field, blocky capitals cut to echo the sweeping curves above. Every line doubles as rhythm. It belongs above a piano, naturally, or in a study where music books stack against one wall. Viennese graphic discipline for a room that listens.
