Plungės, Water Mill

Water pours beneath the wheel of an old mill at Plungės in this scene by Mstislav Dobuzhinsky. The wheel turns at the center while the current splits around its paddles. Crosshatched timber siding, a low weir, moss-dark stones at the waterline. Grey wash settles over the roofline while thin ink lines pick out each plank and rutter.
