Red columns rise through the cold air of Petrograd, their warm brick tone burning against a grey northern sky. Anna Ostroumova-Lebedeva renders the city in her disciplined graphic hand, every contour deliberate. The columns stand in ordered ranks, classical capitals catching thin light.
