An arched iron bridge crosses the frame at a low diagonal, its slender trusses reflected in the dark water below. This is Pavlovsk. Novosilviysky bridge, seen through the disciplined eye of Anna Ostroumova-Lebedeva. Trees line the far bank in soft, layered masses, drawn with the crisp hatching of her woodcut hand.
