Path in the Forest

A narrow footway disappears into dense Greek woodland, painted by Thalia Flora-Karavia. Sunlight breaks apart at the canopy and falls in scattered patches across the ground. Trunks rise in russet and olive, their bark worked with quick, loaded brushstrokes. Undergrowth crowds the edges in deep viridian, thinning where the track turns. Cool shadow pools between the trees while the open path glows faint amber, pulling the eye inward and onward. A quiet corner of a study or reading nook suits this woodland scene, where its hush and filtered light reward long, close looking.
