Om Mani Padme Hum

A Tibetan traveler crosses high ground beneath peaks washed in Roerich blue, and Om mani padme hum names the prayer on every wind-driven banner in the scene. Nicholas Roerich painted the Himalayas as a place where scripture and stone share the same air. The path climbs diagonally, rendered in thinned, mineral tempera, its road little more than a pale seam against violet shadow. Figures move small through the vastness, their scale telling the whole story of pilgrimage. Prayer flags flick at the edges in muted reds and yellows. Hang it in a study or reading nook, anywhere quiet reflection is welcome.
