An oak bough fills the sheet, leaves splayed and overlapping in a rhythm built for repetition. Eliseu Visconti drew this study for fabric printing, translating a single branch into a pattern ready for the roller. Each leaf is worked with confident contour lines and light hatching along the veins, the acorn cups rendered in tight crosshatch. Gaps between the fronds are calculated so the motif locks edge to edge when the design repeats across yardage. Drawn in ink and graphite with the flat clarity textile work demands, it suits a sunroom or dining room where botanical pattern reads well.
