Nikopolis

A city seen from the water: Nikopolis rises along the horizon in low blocks of ochre and dusty rose, its rooftops pressed tight against the sky. Thalia Flora-Karavia renders the town as a soft mass rather than a line of buildings. Look closer and the brushwork separates: pale limestone walls catch the light, cypress shadows fall in deep olive, and the foreground water carries thin bands of cobalt and grey. Small vessels sit at anchor, their hulls no more than two strokes of dark pigment. Warm haze flattens the distance, so the far edge of the city dissolves almost entirely into the sky. It suits a study or a quiet hallway, where the muted palette reads as calm rather than contrast.

Frequently asked

Yes. It ships fully framed and assembled, with the hanging hardware already fitted to the back.

Wipe the front gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep it out of direct sunlight.

Pick the size that suits your wall and furniture. If you are unsure between two, the larger one usually looks better than expected.

Each piece is made to order and shipped free with tracking, usually within a couple of weeks depending on your location. See our shipping policy for details.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.

As each piece is made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged or faulty, email support@auvrique.com within 7 days and we will put it right. See our refund policy.
