Near Breccles

Wheat fields roll toward a screen of tall elms in Near Breccles, a Norfolk landscape rendered in the confident, loose hand of Winston Churchill. The canvas breathes open English air. Broad strokes of butter yellow and sap green carry the crop rows forward, while the tree line breaks in heavy dabs of bottle green and umber.
