Narcissus and Lilies

White narcissus and pale lilies stand together in a slender vase, petals tilted toward the light. Pallady paints them close, almost at eye level, so the flowers fill the frame before any room around them can. Cool white and cream blooms carry soft green shadows along every stem, set against a muted background of greyish mauve. The brushwork is loose but deliberate, paint laid in short directional strokes that let each petal catch its own sliver of brightness. Lilies arch outward while the narcissus stay upright, a quiet tension between the two forms. A reading nook or a calm bedroom corner suits it well, somewhere the flowers can hold the wall without shouting.
