Morning Mist (also known as Late Spring)

Young foliage holds its first green through a pearlescent haze. In Morning Mist, also known as Late Spring, Guy Rose records the brief hour when night damp still softens every treeline and field edge. Slender trunks lose their tops in drifting white, and the grass runs from cool sage to washed silver where thin light lands. Broken strokes of oil paint stay wet and soft, pale blossom and new leaf dragged loosely over a blush-cream sky, edges left unfinished on purpose. A bedroom, stair landing, or reading nook with gentle daylight suits its quiet register, the kind of corner that wants the hush of an early garden.
