Rain has just passed over the Seine, and Robert Henri catches the exact minute when Paris dissolves into pearl grey. Misty Effect, Paris holds that wet air on the surface of the paint, thin washes of violet and smoke layered over a darker city below. Look closely and the brushwork does the work of weather. Rooftops and chimneys sink into a pale blue haze, wet cobbles carry a faint gleam, and one warm note of ochre breaks through the cool wash like a lit window. The palette stays hushed: pewter, lavender grey, soft umber. A quiet hallway or a dim study suits it, anywhere the eye wants somewhere soft to land after a loud day.

Yes. It ships fully assembled in an oak or ash wood frame with shatterproof plexiglass glazing, and hanging hardware already fitted to the back.

Clean the glazing with a soft, lint-free cloth; apply any cleaner to the cloth, never directly to the piece.

As a guide, a piece hung above furniture should span roughly two-thirds of that furniture width. If you are between two sizes, the larger option almost always reads better on the wall than expected.
