Daisies, clover and scattered cornflowers push up through tall grass in Meadow, a flowering field by Koloman Moser where each blossom is set down with a single loaded brush. Short, even strokes of grass green pile up until the surface reads like woven fabric. White petals flicker against darker swaths, poppies burn small and red in the middle distance, and a low ridge of hills closes the far edge under a pale summer sky. A sunroom, stair landing or reading nook suits its unhurried patch of June; the flattened space and decorative dabs carry Vienna Secession order into everyday corners.
