Maremma

Marsh grass bends under a coastal wind, and low hills hold the haze where Tuscany meets the sea. Maremma by Guido Agostini reads as a landscape remembered at dusk, all broad light and dry ground. Ochre fields run in flat planes toward a pale sky, broken by dark umbrella pines and the small silhouettes of grazing cattle. Pigment sits thin and sun-bleached in the distances, then thickens into olive and umber strokes across the foreground scrub. It suits a study with leather chairs and south light, or an entryway where guests pause first. The warm rural palette settles easily against wood, linen, and stone.
