About this work

L'Avant Port De Fecamp

Fishing smacks and a steam trawler ride the green water of the avant port, masts crossing the pale sky above the stone quays. Gustave Loiseau paints the harbor of Fecamp in short, loaded strokes, each hull and rooftop built from distinct dabs of color. The water carries flecks of white and blue green, tide slapping against the jetty. Grey clouds press low over the chalk headland, yet the masts and rigging stand sharp against them. A study or hallway suits this seascape well, its salt air and working harbor energy lending a coastal note to any quiet corner.

Frequently asked

Yes — it arrives stretched over a solid wood frame and ready to hang, with hanging hardware included.

Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep it out of direct sunlight.

Pick the size that suits your wall and furniture. If you are unsure between two, the larger one usually looks better than expected.

Each piece is made to order and shipped free with tracking, usually within a couple of weeks depending on your location. See our shipping policy for details.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.

As each piece is made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged or faulty, email support@auvrique.com within 7 days and we will put it right. See our refund policy.
