Cattle graze far off in Arnold Marc Gorter Landscape with Cattle in the Distance, small dun shapes against a wide stretch of Dutch meadow under a heavy silvered sky. Gorter builds the scene in loose oil handling, wet greens pulled across the foreground, a horizon line kept low so clouds claim most of the panel.
