Lake Keitele

Silvery water ripples toward a forested headland in Lake Keitele, Akseli Gallen-Kallela painting wind itself, every gust traced in fine grey streaks across the surface. A long boom of lashed logs cuts the water on the diagonal, steering drift timber across the bay. Beneath it the surface shifts from smoke blue to pale pearl, laid down in short crosswise strokes. Pine ridges pin the far shore while cloud shadows slide over everything. Cool northern quiet suits a study or reading nook, pale wood and plain linen alongside, letting all that still water carry the room.

Yes. It ships fully assembled in an oak or ash wood frame with shatterproof plexiglass glazing, and hanging hardware already fitted to the back.

Clean the glazing with a soft, lint-free cloth; apply any cleaner to the cloth, never directly to the piece.

As a guide, a piece hung above furniture should span roughly two-thirds of that furniture width. If you are between two sizes, the larger option almost always reads better on the wall than expected.

Every piece is made to order, then shipped free with tracking. US and Europe/UK orders typically arrive in 4–9 business days; Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and the UAE in 7–16 business days. A tracking link is emailed as soon as it ships. Full details are on our shipping policy.
