Laguna Vista

Surf breaks white against the headlands below Laguna Beach, the southern California coast that Benjamin Brown painted for decades. Laguna Vista gathers bluff, cove, and salt haze into a single sunlit view. The brushwork stays broken and loose: cobalt stacked over turquoise for the Pacific, cream impasto where foam bursts across the rocks, violet shadow pooling at the cliff base.
