Kvity (Flowers)

A full bouquet of garden flowers fills the frame, blooms pressed so close they almost spill past the edges. Kvity, Ukrainian for flowers, shows Ivan Trush working in a loose, painterly manner where petals are built from quick, loaded strokes rather than careful outline. Poppies in deep red hold the center, their petals thin enough to catch light at the rim. Around them, chamomile opens white against darker green foliage, and a few blue cornflowers lean outward. The brushwork stays visible throughout, each dab of pigment a single petal or leaf, giving the surface a lively, textured quality. Suited to a kitchen, sunroom, or any bright corner that could use the presence of a fresh-cut summer bouquet year round.
