Kutaisi. Rionges

Green water knots against the stone embankment in Kutaisi. Rionges, a Pyotr Konchalovsky view of the Rioni bending beneath the old Georgian hill town. Brushed fast, on the spot. Terracotta roofs step down the slope in stacked blocks of ochre and rust, each house a single loaded stroke of the brush. Pale sky reflections slide along the current between the banks, and low hills behind the city sit hazy under broad grey light. Thick impasto gives the water real weight. Give it a stairwell landing, a study, a reading nook, anywhere the river keeps moving. Cool greens steady a warm room.

Frequently asked

Yes. It ships fully framed and assembled, with the hanging hardware already fitted to the back.

Wipe the front gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep it out of direct sunlight.

Pick the size that suits your wall and furniture. If you are unsure between two, the larger one usually looks better than expected.

Each piece is made to order and shipped free with tracking, usually within a couple of weeks depending on your location. See our shipping policy for details.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.

As each piece is made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged or faulty, email support@auvrique.com within 7 days and we will put it right. See our refund policy.
