Kunstschau Tickets

Slender panels of black line and flat color announce the Kunstschau itself, Bertold Löffler turning an admission ticket into a small manifesto of Viennese design. Each ticket reads as geometry first: crisp contour lines, blocks of gold ochre and muted rose, lettering set with the discipline of the Wiener Werkstätte workshops. Whiplash curves soften the grid, and every counterweight of empty paper feels as deliberate as the ink. Hang it where guests arrive. An entry hall or study gains a souvenir of Vienna at the moment decorative art became modern.
