Kemény Tél

Snow lies heavy on Kemény Tél, Scheiber Hugó rendering hard winter in blocks of white, slate blue, and iron grey. Shapes bend under the weight of cold. Look closely and the structure opens up: angular roofs tilted against the wind, bare trees drawn as black scratches, figures hunched small against a pale sky. Cold light sits flat on the surface while dark outlines hold every form taut, a hallmark of Hungarian modernism pushed to its wintry limit. A study wall, a hallway, or any room needing a colder, quieter note would carry it well.
