Karelian Landscape. Rocky Seashore

Granite shelves run out to meet cold northern water in this Karelian landscape by Nicholas Roerich. The rocky seashore fills the foreground, broken and low. Broad slabs of stone lie in muted violet-grey, their edges cut crisp against the sea. Beyond, a still horizon holds pale light, and low headlands fade toward a sky washed in cold cobalt and pearl. Roerich builds depth through flat, confident planes of color rather than surface detail. Suited to a study or reading room where a northern, wind-scoured quiet sets the tone.

Frequently asked

Yes. It ships fully framed and assembled, with the hanging hardware already fitted to the back.

Wipe the front gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep it out of direct sunlight.

Pick the size that suits your wall and furniture. If you are unsure between two, the larger one usually looks better than expected.

Each piece is made to order and shipped free with tracking, usually within a couple of weeks depending on your location. See our shipping policy for details.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.

As each piece is made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged or faulty, email support@auvrique.com within 7 days and we will put it right. See our refund policy.
