Interior of Hagia Sophia Mosque

Vast and hushed, the great nave fills the frame as Sevket Dag paints Interior of Hagia Sophia Mosque, its dome floating on a halo of high windows. Green roundels bearing gold calligraphy hang from the colossal piers, and a low brass chandelier drops on long cables above the carpeted floor. Marble columns in grey and rose carry the upper gallery while pale beams slant from the clerestory to touch the stone. Hang it where quiet is wanted: a study, a stair landing, an entryway with tall ceilings. The eye keeps climbing, and the room follows.

Frequently asked

Yes. It ships fully framed and assembled, with the hanging hardware already fitted to the back.

Wipe the front gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep it out of direct sunlight.

Pick the size that suits your wall and furniture. If you are unsure between two, the larger one usually looks better than expected.

Each piece is made to order and shipped free with tracking, usually within a couple of weeks depending on your location. See our shipping policy for details.

Usually not, but international orders can occasionally be subject to local import fees set by your country. Anything like that is set by customs, not by us.

As each piece is made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged or faulty, email support@auvrique.com within 7 days and we will put it right. See our refund policy.
